RiverWoods Blog: Memorial Day
This year there was a sizable attendance in spite of the good weather drawing people to the beach and other summer places. In addition to the usual hot dogs and hamburgers there was corn, beans, pulled pork, barbecued chicken, and various salads. Red, white, and blue tablecloths and flags on the tables added a festive note.
People were happy to come to the first traditional event of the summer season.
