Beth-Ann Roberts, Trustee:

Beth-Ann Roberts is the vice president of Emerging Markets for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, a not-for-profit health plan that provides a variety of insurance plan options and self-funding arrangements to more than one million members in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine. In addition to being responsible for all aspects of business development in New Hampshire, Ms. Roberts works directly with Harvard Pilgrim’s leadership to define and implement business plans for all the organization’s emerging markets. Ms. Roberts previously served as the vice president of Northern New England at Harvard Pilgrim. Ms. Roberts has more than 20 years experience in the health insurance field. Ms. Roberts serves as chair of the New Hampshire Health Plan and on the following Boards of Directors: Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, City Year New Hampshire, Foundation for Healthy Communities, Granite United Way and the Business and Industry Political Action Committee. Ms. Roberts was the chairperson of the 2010 Heritage United Way campaign and successfully raised a record $3.7 million. She served as chairperson of the American Heart Association’s 2010 Go Red for Women luncheon and the 2009 Heart Gala. She was awarded the Crystal Heart Award and was recognized as the Top Corporate Volunteer by New Hampshire magazine for single-handedly raising over $200,000 on behalf of the American Heart Association. In addition, New Hampshire Business Review recognized her as an Outstanding Woman in Business in 2008.
Ms. Roberts has a Masters of Business Administration from Boston University and is a Certified Health Insurance Executive through the America’s Health Insurance Plans.
