Full time working career, following service as a Line Officer and Navigator aboard a US Navy Destroyer during the Korean War, was with American Telephone and Telegraph Company subsidiaries and headquarters in New York City as a financial and planning executive. Mid career education included a Senior Management Certificate from Dartmouth, Hanover, New Hampshire.
Relevant previous not-for-profit Board service has included President of the Board of the College of New Jersey, Secretary of the Hartley Dodge Foundation, and President of the Board of the Southern Vermont Arts Center, Manchester, VT. Currently, in retirement, serving as an Independent Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of the First Investors Funds Family (50 funds) 95 Wall Street, New York, NY. Resident of the Ridge expansion to RiverWoods since December, 2004.
