Robert Lietz, Chairman of the Board of Trustees:
Mr. Lietz is a co-founder of Rye Capital management, LLC, a private equity firm based in Rye, New Hampshire. At Rye Capital he is responsible for all aspects of analyzing and performing due diligence on prospective investment opportunities. Prior to forming Rye Capital in December of 2000, he practiced law for ten years. From 1990-1997 he practiced at the law firm of Hamblett & Kerrigan, PA in Nashua, NH and from 1997-2000 he worked for the firm of Bouchard & Mallory, PA in Hampton, NH. He holds licenses to practice law in the states of New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Mr. Lietz's litigation practice included the handling of product liability cases, business disputes, employment law matters, medical malpractice and general insurance defense litigation. He has tried cases in state and federal courts and has prepared appellate briefs and argued cases on appeal to the State of New Hampshire Supreme Court. Mr. Lietz has appeared on behalf of companies at the State of New Hampshire Department of Labor in workers' compensation cases. During his years of practice, Mr. Lietz was routinely involved in negotiating and drafting settlement terms and has participated in numerous mediation sessions. His professional career has been linked to public and professional service. He has served as a volunteer mediator for the State of New Hampshire Superior Court system since 1998. He has served on committees for the New Hampshire Bar Association and was a member of The American Inns of Court and the New Hampshire Trial Lawyers Association. He has involved himself in community affairs as well. He presently serves on the Board of Directors for Great Bay Services in Newington, NH and has been coaching little league baseball and basketball for the past four years. In the past he was a Big Brother for the Big Brother Big Sister program, actively participated in a partnership between his law firm and a local high school, graduated from Leadership Greater Nashua, and served on the Board of Directors for the Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter. He earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from Syracuse University School of Law in 1990, and Bachelor of Science degree in Public Affairs from Indiana University. Mr. Lietz presently resides in Exeter, New Hampshire with his wife and two children.
